The airline Norwegian is now offering a direct route from Oslo/Gardemoen to Sharm El-Sheikh in Egypt, starting from 31.October 2008. This will be Norwegian's second route to North-Africa and will be the first direct commercial flight between the countries. The flights are scheduled to depart once a week from both destianations.
